Drive and shape customer innovation for strategic clients for Hair, Personal Care & Fragrances category, based on valuable insights provided by Strategic Marketing & Account Development, developing breakthrough products being responsible of the flow from the initial customer brief to the ready-to-go product:

  • Collaborate closely with Strategic Marketing Team to understand customer needs and translate market insights into actionable project strategies;
  • Create and/or develop new product concepts for Hair, Personal Care & Fragrances category, according to customer and brief type;
  • Translate customer needs into precise briefs to the technical departments involved (R&D, Engineering Innovation, Production, Industrialization, Packaging Team, Regulatory etc.…), detailing requirements, if needed with technical language, to the correct stakeholder within the organization, leading the product development process to the product finalization and ensuring that customer requests are fulfilled;
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to prepare the project time plan and ensure that the project is finalized respecting deadlines and target costs;
  • Work hand-in-hand with R&D orienting the development with accurate evaluations of product texture/performances, until texture approval is reached with the customer;
  • Launch first production orders and filling &assembling trials to ensure first industrial scale-up of the approved product before the project passes to Sales Team for further scale-up; verify with Industrial Engineering if tool investment is needed;
  • Bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, understanding technical difficulties and managing project communication/expectations both with internal (Strategic Marketing/Sales/Account Development) and external customers (Strategic Customers) with a constant and accurate project follow-up;
  • Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams to reach a positive project finalization;
  • Deep dive into new trends and market research/new product launches highlighted by Strategic Marketing;
  • Prepare marketing material in collaboration with Strategic Mkg and Copy;
  • Present product & sell concepts to customers during customer presentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Team player, able to work in complex organisation.
  • Analytical skills, target oriented able to handle pressure, deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Creative, with passion and curiosity for cosmetic business and for haircare care segment in particular.
  • Transparency, integrity and eager to learn.
  • Brillant in public speaking and able to present products & sell concepts, also in English.

 

Flexibility and availability to travel for short periods in EU or other regions when required.
